As many as 140 of the youngest competitors from our club took part in the 13th Saint Nicholas Taekwon-do Tournament, held on 10 December 2016 at the KS Orzeł Piaski Wielkie sports hall in Krakow. This exceptional competition was combined with a festival celebrating the 20th anniversary of our club.

This year’s edition of our flagship event had a special character. We made sure that the competition was held in a very spacious hall, where parents could sit in the stands on one side and be very close to their children on the other. For this occasion, our club prepared medals specially made for the event. Thanks to the involvement of the older competitors and KCT instructors, the entire tournament ran very smoothly.

To celebrate the 20th birthday of Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do, a festival was organised with many attractions. These included an inflatable castle, a ball pit, entertainers painting faces, blowing huge bubbles and making various objects from balloons, bows for shooting at targets, nunchaku to swing, and a trampoline for jumping. The children could also meet a police officer, learn first aid from scouts and have their names painted in Korean.

Refreshments were also prepared for the participants: sweet yeast buns, pears, apples, mandarins and drinks. Thus thoroughly refreshed and fed, the competitors were able to reach the peak of their abilities. Here are the results of our tournament.
