White madness in Kluszkowce

White madness in Kluszkowce

In the first week of the winter holidays, our club organized a winter camp in Kluszkowce, attended by 59 people—small, big and old dragons. It was 8 days filled with skiing, snowboarding, training sessions and plenty of attractions.

The camp was attended by athletes from Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do and SW Prime. It combined winter pleasures with training sessions. Every day except Wednesday, a coach took a large group of our charges to Niedzica, where all our participants could test themselves at Polana Sosny. The slopes were quite demanding, but excellently prepared, wide and safe. The best participants also had the chance to test themselves on the Czorsztyn-ski slopes in Kluszkowce.

Daily activities, of course, included training sessions, some of which took place on the snow. In addition, every evening there was a mini disco—the youngest and …the oldest participants of the camp were especially eager to dance.

On the day of arrival, the first additional attraction took place: a sleigh ride. On the aforementioned Wednesday, we went to a swimming pool in Nowy Targ, where our skiers could recover on the slides and in the jacuzzi. On Thursday, there was an initiation ceremony for those attending the camp for the first time. The final evening, however, was particularly special.

First there was a bonfire, where everyone could roast a sausage. Then the party moved to the dining hall, where a highlander band was already waiting for us. There was not only singing, but also dancing. Finally, roast mutton was brought in, and it was especially popular with the older campers. The next morning, everyone packed their bags full of memories and set off on the journey home.
