What are Little Dragons?
Little Dragons is a revolutionary sports program, created specifically for preschool-aged children, incorporating elements of Taekwon-do. The program was created and promoted by the Krakow Taekwon-do Center – a sports club with a 30-year history.
What do Little Dragons offer?
Motor development, which includes motor coordination, gymnastics, fitness, balance, play with equipment, and Taekwon-do technical skills.
Social and emotional development, meaning we teach teamwork, concentration, discipline, motor memory, respect for fair play rules, respect, self-control, and build self-confidence in children.
The comprehensive selection of exercises ensures that children not only achieve excellent physical fitness but also acquire skills useful in everyday life.
Little Dragons also includes Taekwon-do elements, as children learn basic kicks and punches during our classes without applying techniques. Our students kick or punch into the air, pads, and targets – thus acquiring valuable coordination and concentration skills.
What equipment do we use during training?
- Training equipment borrowed from Taekwon-do, such as pads, paddles, targets, softies – items that can be kicked and punched.
- Sports equipment, including: coordination ladders, sensory discs, cones, beanbags, sashes, balls, and gymnastic mats.
What about children with disabilities?
We conduct classes for children with intellectual disabilities, with mild or moderate impairment. Training sessions are led by experienced instructors with extensive knowledge of the specifics of conducting such classes.
How to join us?
We offer afternoon classes in schools at several locations in Krakow, as well as classes in the best non-public kindergartens.
The number of children and parents satisfied with the Little Dragons program is growing, which means we will be appearing in more schools and kindergartens. If Little Dragons is not yet available at your facility, contact us, and we will certainly change that!
