Our club with a double crown

In glory and triumph, our club’s team returned from the Polish Team Championships, which took place on 23 April in Zawiercie. In the most prestigious competitions—team sparring for seniors—both our men’s and women’s teams triumphed in their categories. In the overall classification, we took 2nd place, уступing only to the hosts’ team, which was three times larger than ours.

The competition was held in a team format. Children and young cadets competed in three-person teams in the speed-kicking and soft-stick events, while the latter also competed in touch-contact. Cadets, juniors and seniors could form pairs for doublematch bouts (in the light-contact format) and threes for tag-team (semi-contact format). In addition, team bouts were held for senior men (five-person teams) and senior women (three-person teams).
A total of 32 athletes represented our club. In all ranking events, our teams won 14 medals, including 9 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. In addition, our athletes competing in interclub teams won 3 medals. Among our athletes, Karolina Nowak, Dobrochna Dolicka and Adam Zięba each stood on the highest step of the podium three times.
