KCT conquers Scotland

As many as 6 medals were brought home by our four-person team from the Scottish Championships, held on 9 September in Motherwell.

A spectacular performance by the athletes of Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do. Our team, consisting of Jakub Włodarz, Florian Markiewicz, Grzegorz Pajda and Mikołaj Chrząszcz, under the supervision of coach Mikołaj Kotowicz, returned with six medals, including four gold ones.

According to Florian, the competition was very efficiently organized: “it went very quickly because there was only semi and in the individual fights there was only one two-minute round”, and a fight could also end after one of the competitors scored 10 points.

The boys made the most of the trip. In addition to the sporting competition, they found time to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh. “Despite the relatively short amount of time, we managed to walk around the cities quite a lot and see various landmarks,” Florian recalls.
