Medal Harvest in Marklowice

The seven-member junior and cadet team representing Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do won 28 medals at the 12th Taekwon-do Championships for the Cup of the Head of Marklowice Municipality. The tournament was organized by our partner club, UKS Won-Hyo Marklowice.

The best competitor in the junior category was Mikołaj Chrząszcz, who reached the top step of the podium as many as four times. Szymon Grzebyk, competing in the cadet age group, also triumphed four times.

It is worth mentioning that Grzegorz and Emilia, assigned to the junior group, agreed to compete in the older age category, where they repeatedly found their way into the medal zone. Unfortunately, an injury thwarted Emilka’s plans and allowed her to compete in only two events.

Our competitors demonstrated a high technical level and brought home a total of 28 medals: 12 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze. The host team will have its next opportunity for a rematch on 19 May at the upcoming Kraków Cup.
