3 gold medals at the Moravia Open Cup 2018!

The ITF Moravia Open taekwondo tournament took place in Ostrava (Czech Republic) on 29–30 September, and we took part in it. The competition attracted 414 competitors from 10 countries, who formed 40 teams.

Our athletes won 8 medals there: 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. The biggest congratulations go to Karolina Czech, who won the title of the best-scoring woman in sparring, as well as gold in women’s -75 kg sparring. And this is by no means thanks to her surname, but to hard work and determination. Stefania Kotowicz also brought home gold, becoming the best point-fighting competitor among the female cadets under 140 cm.

Congratulations also go to Zofia Zapolska for taking second place in the older female cadets’ sparring category. Gabriela Kowalska, Ewa Wójcik, Dariusz Pazdan and Ludwik Oleś are responsible for winning and bringing home the bronze medals.
