Winter camp for Małe Smoki with parents in Kluszkowce 2019
During this year’s winter holidays, 71 people spent a week with us in Kluszkowce, where a winter camp was held for children and young people attending independently, as well as Małe Smoki accompanied by their guardians. The weather was kind to us and there was plenty of snow—just as winter should be.
We stayed at Gościniec Pieniński, which provided participants with accommodation in rooms for 2–5 people with private bathrooms, a great convenience. Meals were served three times a day, giving us energy for the whole day. This camp was divided not only into Małe Smoki with their parents and independent children and young people, but also into those who preferred winter fun on the slopes and those who preferred additional taekwon-do training.
Those who chose to enjoy the snow on skis or snowboards went to the slopes every day (apart from the arrival and departure days), to Polana Sosny or Wdżar. They set off for the slopes immediately after breakfast, returning for a delicious lunch and having the energy for more activities. There were groups for less and more advanced participants so that everyone could get the most out of the trip. An instructor was also present on the slopes, teaching our participants who were just beginning their adventure with this sport or wanted to improve their skills a little.
In addition to taekwon-do training three times a day, other attractions also awaited our participants. Every day, we tried to make their stay at the camp enjoyable in a different way. We listened to a highlander band, went on a sleigh ride, and trained in zumba and ju jitsu. In addition, there was snowman building, table football, archery, films and a sketch competition. There was no time for boredom. Until noon, the parents had time for themselves thanks to the Małe Smoki preschool. They could also take part in taekwon-do training held especially for them.
Thank you for the time we spent together. See you at the summer camp!
