Summer Sports Camp Kasinka Mała 2021

Another sports camp is behind us! Once again, we chose the “Lubogoszcz” Training and Recreation Centre in Kasinka Mała. This charming place, located 600 m above sea level, gave us many opportunities, which we took advantage of.

We began the first day with a walk from the coach to the centre located in the middle of the forest. The sight of the sports fields, the vast green area and the playground delighted the participants most. After dinner, we ended the day with a mini disco.

At the camp, we trained in taekwon-do once a day. This left plenty of time to learn other sports, such as baseball, boules, basketball, volleyball, badminton and archery. It was in this last discipline that we held our first competition, with sports accessories as prizes.

 

On the third day of the camp, we went on a trip to Rabkoland. The older groups enjoyed it independently, while the younger ones used the attractions together with their supervisors. The children’s favourite attraction was the fastest roller coaster. Some trainers felt quite dizzy after the fourth ride on the now-famous “musical notes”, which younger children could enter only with a supervisor :) The trip was a great success. Tired but happy, we returned to the centre.

 

 

Over the following days, we had the opportunity to take part in team-building activities, climbing and an outdoor game. Searching for points placed throughout the centre proved to be quite a challenge and great fun. The next attractions were the climbing wall and games with water balloons.

 

The camp also included sports competition. All participants took part in a two-day fitness olympics. Eight events determined the winners in each age group, whom we warmly congratulate!

On the penultimate day, we set off to conquer Mount Lubogoszcz. The walk began just after breakfast and ended with our arrival in time for lunch. Despite the considerable distance, all participants performed brilliantly.

 

We ended the final day with a campfire gathering. Prizes were also awarded for the cleanest rooms. The results surprised… the parents most of all :)
