Report from the sports camp in Kasinka Mała
Another sports camp is behind us! Once again, we chose the “Lubogoszcz” Training and Recreation Centre in Kasinka Mała. This charming place, located 600 m above sea level, gave us many opportunities, which we made use of.
We began the first day with a walk from the coach to the centre located in the middle of the forest. The sight of the sports fields, the extensive green area and the playground delighted the participants most. After dinner, we ended the day with a mini disco.

At the camp, we trained in taekwon-do once a day. This left plenty of time to learn other sports, such as baseball, pétanque, basketball, volleyball, badminton and archery. It was in this last discipline that we held our first competition, with sports accessories awarded as prizes.
On the third day of camp, we went on a trip to Rabkoland. The older groups enjoyed it on their own, while the younger ones took part in the attractions with their supervisors. The children’s favourite attraction was the fastest roller coaster. Some of the coaches felt quite dizzy after the fourth ride on the now-famous “nut rides”, which younger children could use only with a supervisor :) The trip was a great success. Tired but happy, we returned to the centre.
Over the following days, we had the opportunity to take part in team-building activities, climbing and an orienteering game. Searching for points spread throughout the centre proved to be quite a challenge and great fun. The next attractions were the climbing wall and games with water balloons.
The camp also included sporting competition. All participants took part in a two-day fitness Olympiad. Eight events determined the winners in the individual age groups, and we warmly congratulate them!

On the penultimate day, we set out to conquer Mount Lubogoszcz. The walk began just after breakfast and ended with our arrival for lunch. Despite the considerable distance, all participants did a medal-worthy job.
We ended the last day with fun around a campfire. Prizes were also awarded for the cleanest rooms. The results surprised… the parents most of all :)
