Family Sports Vacation in Zubrzyca Górna 2021 – Session II

In the second half of August, another session of the family sports vacation took place. This time, slightly older participants went on the trip, so the camp program was adapted to their age group. Can you spot the difference?

As the place for our holiday, the club once again chose Orawski Dwór. The aforementioned tourist facility is a guesthouse situated in a picturesque area with a view of the Tatra Mountains and Babia Góra. The place is wonderfully equipped with families with children in mind. Outside, there is a huge open area, a sports field and a playground.

 

The program included daily art and educational activities. During one of them, the children and young people created their own bag design. They used paints and fabric markers to complete the task. The results were truly unique!

 

In the afternoons, training sessions were held for children and adults. Due to the large number of campers, they were divided into four groups – two for the parents and two for their children.

 

Another daily activity was swimming-pool sessions. Thanks to regular practice, the participants had the opportunity to improve their skills.

 

The trip to Babia Góra was definitely a test of patience and endurance. The hike lasted as long as 7 hours and began in Krowiarki. At the summit of the “Queen of the Beskids,” located 1725 m above sea level, everyone could finally breathe a sigh of relief and pride – the goal had been achieved! After resting, the group headed to Zawoja, where a coach was waiting for them.

 

A visit to the rope park was also on the agenda! “Wypasiona Dolina” offers several routes of varying difficulty as well as attractions for the youngest. Surely, everyone will find something for themselves in such a place.

 

Apart from the sports activities mentioned above, the daily evening routine included Just Dance, karaoke or watching cartoons. The kids had a moment to relax, while the parents could unwind :)
