Our masters

At Dojang Nowa Huta, on 17 September 2021, an examination for master ranks in ZS PUT taekwon-do was held. The test was conducted by President Zbigniew Pawlak, 6th dan, and Mikołaj Kotowicz, 5th dan. 

Four athletes and instructors from the Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do took part in the examination. They underwent a test lasting many hours, during which they had to demonstrate: blocking, striking and kicking techniques, formal patterns, technical fights, sparring with 1, 2, 3, and even 4 opponents, demonstrate self-defence techniques and, finally, break 10 full-size boards. The participants were also assessed on their knowledge of the principles of taekwon-do, Korean terminology and the history of our martial art.

As a result of the test, the following were promoted:

• Karolina Czech to 3rd dan
• Dariusz Pazdan to 2nd dan 
• Michał Krupa to 1st dan
• Ludwik Oleś to 1st dan.
