Taekwon-do student-grade examination

The post contains the most important information about the upcoming student-grade examination taking place on 10–11.06.2022.

Date: 10–11.06.2022

Location: Primary School No. 149, room 26d.

Registration: is required! Register with the instructors by Wednesday, 8.06.2022

Fees: PLN 80 for each grade, PLN 40 for a failed examination – payable in cash on the day of the examination.

Group division

For those training for the first or second year, the examination takes place in groups. For more advanced participants, the highest grade they are taking determines the group:

Friday, 10 June

17:30–19:00 – younger advanced participants taking 7.3 cup and above

19:00–20:00 – older beginners taking up to and including 7 cup

20:00–21:30 – older advanced participants taking 6 cup and above

Saturday, 11 June

10:00–11:00 – younger beginners, Dojang + Stoki (small room)

11:00–12:00 – younger intermediate participants, Dojang + Stoki (small room)

12:00–13:00 – younger beginners, Borek, Waldorfska, Horme, Open Future

13:00–13:30 – technical break

13:30–14:30 – younger beginners, Łagiewniki, Felicjanki, Podwawelskie, Kozłówek, CIS

14:30–15:30 – younger beginners, Kurdwanów (both groups), Skotniki

15:30–16:30 – younger intermediate participants, Skotniki, Kozłówek, Łagiewniki

16:30–17:30 – younger intermediate participants, Kurdwanów, Borek

17:30–19:00 – younger advanced participants taking 8 cup–7.2 cup, all groups

Additional information:

• Children should arrive at the examination 15 minutes before it begins (neither earlier nor later).
• It is not possible to watch the examination in the room.
• The exact examination fee in cash will be collected at the entrance to the room, and certificates confirming that the examination was passed will be issued at the exit.
• Those who have a full dobok should bring it. Those without a dobok should wear long sports trousers and a T-shirt.
• Participants who are to fight during the examination must have their own personal set of sports-fighting equipment.
• After the examination, it will be possible to purchase a white or yellow belt for PLN 20.

Explanation of grades:

10 cup – a white belt without bars

9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 cup – a white belt with 1, 2 or 3 yellow bars, respectively

8 cup – a yellow belt

7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 – a yellow belt with 1, 2 or 3 green bars, respectively

6 cup – a green belt, etc.
