Taekwon-do Camp in Jastrowie

We have now returned from the camp for children and young people travelling independently, which took place from 09–20.07.2022 in Jastrowie. For the first time, we went to the “Leśna Chata” Holiday Resort.

The facility is located directly on Lake Jastrowie Wielkie, on the outskirts of Jastrowie. It consists of a hotel building with a restaurant and holiday cottages with bathrooms. The resort has its own beach with a designated swimming area, two tent halls with mats for combat sports, a SPA and a sports field.

 

There were 3 training sessions a day at the camp. We began the day with formal patterns at 06:40. After breakfast, we worked on refining our technique. In the afternoon, the training sessions were devoted to sparring.

 

During the camp, we had the pleasure of taking part in a kickboxing seminar organised by Zbigniew Sołtys and Jakub Pokusa.

 

The swimming area, located literally just a few metres from the facility, was a great source of joy for the participants :) Almost every day, groups marched to the beach, where they spent time together swimming, playing team games, relaxing and, of course, doing cannonballs :)

 

Korean classes were part of the programme. Everyone attended at least once, while those interested became regular participants throughout the camp :)

 

Another attraction was a kayaking trip. Both the younger and older groups completed a 7-kilometre route. After two hours of using paddles, boxing the next day was slightly more difficult.

 

As organisers, based on the surveys, we can boast that the participants were highly satisfied with the camp! May there be more trips like this!
