We took the train to the Summer Taekwon-do Camp in Jastrowie

The charm of Leśna Chata attracted us once again! Almost 100 people went to the Summer Taekwon-do Camp to train hard, learn Korean, splash around in the lake and have fun with other club members! The weather was not particularly kind this year, but we still managed to spend our time productively and take a break from everyday life.

Every morning, we started the day with formal pattern training. Thanks to almost two weeks of work, many people managed to refine their forms and pass the exam for the next student grade.

At the camp, we had the pleasure of working with Ania and Marcin—Brazilian jiu-jitsu coaches. They conducted jiu-jitsu training sessions with the camp participants, and Coach Marcin additionally led yoga sessions. The athletes were happy that something new had been introduced, and most of them looked forward to the next sessions! Of course, regular taekwon-do training focused on techniques and sparring also took place.

On sunny days, a group of willing participants went kayaking several times! Some, however, preferred to stay on the shore, sunbathing, swimming or jumping into the water.

The other activities included Korean classes with Ms Ania, outdoor sports activities (football, basketball, badminton and volleyball), Just Dance and watching films for a moment of relaxation. The festival of colours can probably already be called a tradition, and it delighted the campers and the staff at this camp as well. Everyone threw coloured powders, danced to music and fooled around. To sum up—here’s to more fantastic trips like this one!
