Examination for student grades in taekwon-do and kickboxing – 2024

We are pleased to announce another examination for student grades. The examination will take place in Ruczaj on 27 January 2024. In this post, we present detailed information about the event.

Location: Primary School No. 40, 13 Pszczelna Street, Kraków (Ruczaj)

Registration: is required! Register with the instructors by Wednesday, 24.01.2024

Fees: PLN 100 for each grade, PLN 50 if the examination is failed – payable in cash on the day of the examination.

Beginner groups (first-year)

09:30-10:30 – younger beginners (Cracow International School and Kollegium Europejskie)

10:30-11:30 – younger beginners (Open Future, Horme, BC School)

11:30-12:30 – younger beginners (Skotniki, Borek Fałęcki, Wolna Szkoła Waldorfska)

13:00-14:00 – younger beginners (Kurdwanów)

14:00-15:00 – younger beginners (Podawelskie, Kozłówka, Łagiewniki)

15:00-16:00 – younger beginners (Stoki, Niepodległości, Tysiąclecia)

16:00-17:00 – older beginner kickboxing (all groups)

17:00-18:00 – older beginners taekwon-do (up to 8 cup, all groups)

Intermediate and advanced groups (training for more than 1 year)

09:00-10:00 – younger participants for grades 9.1-9.3 cup (CIS, Open Future, Horme, Kollegium Europejskie)

10:00-11: 00 – younger participants for grades 9.1-9.3 cup (Kurdwanów, Skotniki, Borek, Waldorfska)

11:00-12:00 – younger participants for grades 9.1-9.3 cup (Stoki, Tysiąclecia, Niepodległości, Podwawelskie, Łagiewniki, Kozłówka

12:30:14:00 – younger participants for grades 8-7.2 cup (all groups)

14:00-15:30 – younger participants for grades 7.3 cup and above (all groups)

15:30-18:00 – older advanced participants for grades 7 cup and above (all groups).

Additional information:

• There are few parking spaces near the school; please consider alternative means of transport (public transport, taxi) or allow time to walk from the parking lot at Kaufland.
• The group is determined by the highest grade for which you are taking the examination.
• We arrive for the examination 20 minutes before it starts (neither earlier nor later).
• Parents may watch the examination from the stands..
• The calculated examination fee will be collected in cash at the entrance to the hall, and certificates confirming that the examination was passed will be issued when leaving the hall.
• For the taekwon-do examination, those who have a full dobok should bring it. Those who do not have a dobok should wear long sports trousers and a white T-shirt.
• People who will fight during the examination must have their own complete set of sports-fighting equipment.
• After the examination, it will be possible to purchase a white or yellow belt for PLN 20.

Explanation of grades:

10 cup – a white belt without stripes

9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 cup – a white belt with 1, 2 or 3 yellow stripes, respectively

8 cup – a yellow belt

7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 – a yellow belt with 1, 2 or 3 green stripes, respectively

6 cup – a green belt, etc.
