Sports winter day camp in Kurdwanów – report
Sports winter day camp in Kurdwanów – report
From January 20 to 24, a sports day camp was held in Kurdwanów, attended by 30 energetic children. It was a time filled with movement, creativity and great fun.
See what happened during these five extraordinary days.
An active start – the first days full of energy
We started the day camp with a bang! On the very first day, the children had the opportunity to have fun at Smok Fałecki, and then try their hand at taekwon-do training. We alternated sporting challenges with time for games and activities, which helped the children get to know one another and bond better.
The second day combined creativity and activity – from morning relaxation with board games to a real explosion of ingenuity during the Lego Masters workshop. The children’s imaginations were working at full speed, and the themed structures delighted everyone with their variety. We traditionally ended the day with taekwon-do training
Adventures and educational trips
On Wednesday, the children got a behind-the-scenes look at tram life during a visit to the tram depot “Podgórze”. The trip proved fascinating – the young participants learned where trams “sleep”, what their repairs look like, and also learned the rules of safe travel on public transport. After returning, there was time to rest and assemble vehicle models MPK, and the day naturally ended with taekwon-do training.
The fourth day brought a cinema attraction – we went to Cinema City, where most chose to watch the action-packed animated film “Sonic”. After returning and taking a short break, the energy returned to the hall during another martial arts training session.
Experiments and saying goodbye to the day camp
We started the last day with fun on soft beanbags, which all children love. Then there was a chemistry workshop. The children could prepare colourful bath salts themselves, which they later took home. The sunny weather encouraged us to make one more trip to the playground, and after returning for lunch, the day traditionally ended with taekwon-do training.
Thank you and see you in the summer!
Thank you to all the children for their smiles and wonderful energy that accompanied us throughout the week! We thank the parents for their trust and for entrusting us with their children. It is thanks to you that this day camp was such a success. We hope to see you again in the summer – see you then! 😊☀️
