Summer Taekwon-do Day Camp in Łagiewniki – a week full of adventures!
Summer Taekwon-do Day Camp in Łagiewniki – a week full of adventures!
This year’s taekwon-do day camp, held in Łagiewniki from 30 June to 4 July 2025, brought the participants plenty of joy, activity and unforgettable memories. See what the day camp led by coaches Magda and Kamila looked like.
Day I – We’re starting the adventure… and with a movie!
The first day of the day camp began with a cinematic journey. The children visited the cinema and “flew into space”, which proved to be a perfect introduction to the entire camp. The weather was favourable, so after lunch the participants could choose between activities on the sports field or games in the cool hall. There was also the first taekwon-do training – after all, this was a sports day camp!
Day II – Relaxation and water fun
Tuesday was all about relaxation and fun. The children visited a salt grotto, and later enjoyed the swimming pool. Training also took place that day, but it ended with everyone watching a film with popcorn. The perfect combination of activity and rest!
Day III – Creativity with Lego!
Wednesday brought workshops with Lego Bricks. The children could feel like participants in the popular “Lego Masters” programme and create amazing constructions from bricks. After a creative morning, it was time for some sweet refreshment – ice cream and playing on the playground. As always, the day ended with training.
Day IV – Culture and activity in Japanese style
Thursday was a day full of inspiration: the children visited the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art, where they learned about the culture of Japan, explored exhibitions and tried their hand at writing in Japanese. In the afternoon, there was no shortage of physical activity – football, badminton and other games fit perfectly into the sporting spirit of the day camp.
Day V – Jumps, fun and… the final training session
To finish the day camp, the children visited two of their favourite places – GoJump and GoKids. There was plenty of joy, laughter and, of course, jumping! This intensive day (and the entire week) culminated in the final joint taekwon-do training session.
