Report from the summer sports camp – Borek 2025

From 24–30 August 2025, we organized a summer sports camp in Borek – a picturesque village in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in Bochnia County, located approximately 50 km from Kraków.

Our base was the Centrum Aktywnego Wypoczynku „Borek” – a fantastic complex offering, among other things, a hotel building and cabins, a restaurant, two multipurpose rooms, a huge playground, its own swimming area, a go-kart track, a ropes course and numerous sports fields.

This place provided us with plenty of joy, excitement and sporting experiences.

Day I – Arrival and first attractions

After settling into our rooms, we set off to explore the resort. Meeting the alpacas and goats brought us great joy. The children quickly made use of the playground too.
In the evening, animations and fun with “Just Dance” awaited us.

Day II – Training and water fun

After breakfast, the older group took part in Taekwon-do training, while the younger group enjoyed the water playgrounds and inflatables. In the afternoon, they switched attractions – everyone could try everything. The day was full of activity, laughter and sporting excitement.

Day III – Sports competitions and survival

The third day began with a solid training session. Later, we held sports competitions – there was plenty of fun and laughter. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we spent quite a lot of time by the water. In the evening, we began survival activities, which continued for the next two days.

Day IV – Zip line and climbing

That day, the children could test their skills on the zip line over the reservoir and on the climbing wall.
The rest of the day was filled with fun by the water and on the playground.
In the evening, there was a film screening and another part of the survival activities.

Day V – Archery and the festival of colors

The fifth day was all about archery – this discipline captivated all the children. Each group also had a training session.
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we had fun by the water, enjoyed ice cream, and in the evening everyone had a great time during the festival of colors.

Day VI – Kayaks, cleanliness competition and barbecue

On the sixth day, the participants used kayaks and pedal boats, trained, relaxed by the water and had fun until sunset.
A delicious barbecue awaited us for dinner, followed by the announcement of the cleanliness competition results. As many as five rooms received the maximum scores: 6,6,6,6 and 6.
