Report from the Taekwon-do Summer Camp – Zwierzyń 2025
This year’s Taekwon-do summer camp took place in picturesque Zwierzyń in the heart of the Bieszczady Mountains, where for eleven days we trained, explored and spent active time together. Our base was the comfortable Uroczysko centre, located on a large, fenced site with a swimming pool, sports field and three gyms equipped with mirrors and mats. The surrounding mountains, forests and Lake Solina created ideal conditions for intensive training, rest and a shared sporting adventure.
Day one – camp opening
On the first day, we began the camp in Zwierzyń. We spent the hot, sunny Sunday by the pool, enjoying the beautiful weather and our first moments together. It was an ideal, peaceful start before the intensive camp programme.
Day two – a training rhythm
The second day of camp was dominated by training — training, training and training again. The weather was favourable, so we exercised both indoors and outdoors.
Day three – Solina and Tarnica
Younger group – Tajemnicza Solina amusement park
The younger group spent the day at the Tajemnicza Solina amusement park. We used the slides, interactive games and mazes, and looked at figurines inspired by Bieszczady legends — all of this brought plenty of joy.
A great experience was travelling by gondolas over the dam in Solina, from where we admired spectacular views. We also took part in an ESKA radio competition, which gave the participants additional fun.
Older groups – climbing Tarnica
The older groups spent this day in the mountains and climbed Tarnica, the highest peak of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains. Despite the more difficult route, the participants coped brilliantly, and the beautiful panoramas were a wonderful reward for their effort.
In the evening, as scheduled, further taekwon-do training sessions took place.
Thursday and Friday – Extreme Martial Arts
On Thursday and Friday, we explored the world of Extreme Martial Arts, combining martial arts with acrobatics, tricking and performance elements.
The classes were led by Piotr and Wojtek from the Astral – Team Nowy Sącz group, who brought an enormous amount of positive energy, knowledge and inspiration. The participants were very eager to try new elements and had a great time during the classes.
19 August – examination for student grades and colour festival
On Tuesday, 19 August, the long-awaited examination for student grades took place. As many as 69 participants took part, and we proudly announced that… everyone passed!
Everyone showed tremendous determination and excellent preparation. Congratulations!
In the evening, we celebrated our shared success during a colourful colour festival, which ended the day in a joyful and unifying atmosphere.
