Sports day camp in Kurdwanów – report from the 2026 winter holidays

From 2–6 February 2026 in Kurdwanów, a winter sports day camp took place. Throughout the week, the children remained under the care of experienced coaches – Kamila and Magda, who took care of both their safety and their good time, as well as providing plenty of physical activity every day.

We have completed five days full of sport, trips, new experiences and shared fun. We encourage you to read the report and see what activities accompanied us throughout the week.

The first day of the day camp

On the first day, we went to the National Bank of Poland. We visited the exhibition and learned a little more about the history and functioning of money. It was an interesting and educational lesson outside the classroom.

In the afternoon, as planned, it was time for an intensive training session, which allowed the children to release their energy after the trip and make a good start to the sports week.

The second day of the day camp

After breakfast, we went to Central Hall, where we started the day with bowling – for some participants, it was their first contact with this sport. Then the activity place zone awaited us, full of attractions such as air hockey, table football, simulators and various games.

After returning to school, we had lunch, and the children used up their remaining energy during activities in the gym.

The third day

On the third day, we went to the Natural History Museum. Among many interesting exhibits, the children solved a quiz about facts and myths about animals, combining fun with learning. Of course, we did not forget about our daily dose of physical activity – we ended the day with taekwon-do training.

The fourth day of the day camp

Right after breakfast, taking advantage of the pleasant weather, we walked to the cinema. The children chose the film “Fast and Agile” – and we have to admit that we were exactly like that ourselves that day! We were among the first to queue for popcorn and other treats, so we could calmly take our seats in the cinema hall.

After the screening and the walk, we had lunch. There was also free time, during which bead-making madness reigned. As usual, we ended the day with training.

The fifth day of the day camp

On the last day, we took on the role of chefs. We took part in a pizza-making workshop – each participant prepared their own composition of favourite ingredients.

To conclude the day camp, there of course had to be sports training. It was our last day together – thank you for your trust and for the time spent together. We hope the children enjoyed the day camp as much as we did.  You can find more photos on our website CAMP TKD.
