Report on the Summer Grading Examination

Report on the Summer Grading Examination

On Saturday, June 20, another taekwon-do grading examination was held at Primary School No. 40 in Ruczaj.

Participants came to the examination from nearly all of our branches – from Kurdwanów, through Skotniki, Borek Fałęcki, the Podwawelskie Estate, Łagiewniki, the Tysiąclecia Estate, all the way to school groups from CIS, WIS, Kolegium Europejskie, Open Future, Kompas, BC School and Horme. So children and young people from all over Kraków met on the mat!

The venue was divided into three rooms, where groups at different levels of advancement took their examinations simultaneously:

🔹 Room 1 – the youngest, first-year participants taking their first steps in taekwon-do
🔹 Room 2 – intermediate groups taking examinations for higher cup grades
🔹 Room 3 – advanced participants as well as older youth and adults taking examinations for the highest colored-belt grades

The examination lasted from morning until late afternoon – the oldest participants finished their competition at 3:50 p.m.! The enormous commitment of both the examinees and the parents cheering from the stands was clearly visible.

Congratulations to all the examinees for their courage, perseverance and determination. The new belts and stripes reached our participants’ hands (or rather, their belts 😄) that very same day.

We thank the coaches for preparing the group for the examination, and the parents for their support and for driving them to Ruczaj despite the parking difficulties!
