TOURNAMENTS

For many of our competitors, tournaments are an important part of their training journey: a goal, a source of motivation, and a chance to test themselves in a new situation. Taking part is always voluntary, and the level of competition grows along with the competitors’ skills – from club events for the youngest children to world championships.

For over 20 years, every December we have organized a club tournament that is many children’s first competitive experience. Competitors from the age of 3 take part, with events adapted to their age: the youngest complete an obstacle course and compete in speed drills, while older participants compete in patterns, specialty techniques, and soft-stick or semi-contact sparring. Every participant receives a diploma, and Little Dragons also receive commemorative medals. The competition is accompanied by a family festival with activities for the whole family, making the tournament above all a fun and festive gathering for club members.

Every spring we organize the Krakow Cup – a tournament where our competitors face rivals from other clubs for the first time. Everyone takes part, from Little Dragons to seniors, in categories matched to age and skill level. The event grows bigger every year: in 2025, more than 540 competitors from 13 clubs across Poland took part, and the tournament was held under the patronage of the Mayor of Krakow.

More advanced competitors take part in national-level competitions, both in taekwon-do and kickboxing. In taekwon-do, these include the Polish Championships and the Polish Open Cup; in kickboxing, the Polish Championships in light contact and pointfighting formats, as well as cup tournaments. We prepare our competitors for these events through training sessions and camps, and we travel to competitions as a full club team under the supervision of our coaches.

Our top competitors represent the club and Poland on the international stage: at the European and World Taekwon-do Championships, at WAKO kickboxing competitions, and at open tournaments across Europe. Our competitors are members of the national kickboxing team and regularly bring home medals and titles as European and world champions.
