Trip to Porąbka

TAEKWON-DO SUMMER CAMP

PORĄBKA 2017

for children and young people

Porąbka is a town in Bielsko County, approximately 75 km from Kraków. It is situated on the Soła River by Lake Czackie. We will stay at the Children’s Holiday Home. It is a facility excellently prepared for organising children’s stays. The centre has a long tradition, and in recent years the facility has undergone a thorough renovation.

The Children’s Holiday Home has a fenced area of 1 hectare. Its facilities include a modern, multifunctional sports field, a playground and several common rooms. Participants will be accommodated in spacious, sunny multi-person rooms. The instructors will be supported by the centre’s experienced staff and an on-duty nurse. There are many hiking trails, swimming pools, a lake and lots of other attractions in the area. The centre’s strong point is its excellent food.

 

Date: 9–20 July 2017 (12 days)

Transport: air-conditioned coach.

Departure: Sunday, 9 July 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Gimnazjum No. 28 in Kraków, 15 Bujaka Street.

Return: Thursday, 20 July 2017, at approximately 4:00 p.m. to Gimnazjum No. 28 in Kraków.

4-, 8- and 9-person rooms, sanitary facilities on every floor, dining hall at the centre.

The price includes:

• coach transport to and from Kraków,
• accommodation in multi-person rooms,
• meals (3 per day),
• training (3 times a day),
• care provided by educators and instructors,
• a varied programme based on active recreation,
• trips, including a visit to a swimming pool and the Forest Park of Surprises.

Camp forms: download it from the website, print it double-sided, complete it and sign every page, then deliver it to the instructor by 16 June 2017.

Invoices for the camp: please send the invoice details to: mikolaj.kotowicz@kct.pl. We can issue invoices no later than 7 days after the camp ends, so please contact us promptly.

Bring:

• school ID card or another identity document,
• 3 pairs of shoes (running shoes, outdoor shoes and flip-flops),
• dobok or training outfit (for exercising indoors),
• sports sparring equipment (if you have it)
• training outfit (for exercising outdoors),
• swimsuit (for the swimming pool),
• small backpack for trips, head covering, rain jacket,
• watch with an alarm,
• pocket money (in small denominations, in a signed envelope).

Do not bring:

• mobile phones (applies to children under 13) – children can be contacted through the educator’s phone (these have been our rules since the age of 16 and the matter is not negotiable),
• expensive electronic equipment – tablets, video cameras, cameras, consoles,
• unhealthy food and drinks (sweet drinks, sweets, crisps).
