A sports day camp in Nowa Huta – full of movement and discoveries!
From 30 June – 4 July, a sports day camp in Nowa Huta was held, led by our indispensable coaches – Darek and Valerii. 💪🏼 Every day brought the children new attractions, physical activities, trips, training sessions and creative workshops. See what the individual days of the camp looked like.
A sporty start to the camp – this is how summer begins!
The Nowa Huta day camp started with full energy! Under the watchful eye of coaches Darek and Valerii, from the very first day the children took part in a variety of physical games – there was running, jumping, group games outdoors and time spent at the playground.
A visit to the Polish Aviation Museum
It was a real treat for young explorers. The children could not only see various models of aeroplanes and helicopters up close, but also enter some of them! The tour was accompanied by plenty of fascinating stories about the history of aviation. At the end, there was a model-making workshop where every participant could assemble their own aeroplane model.
Learning through play at Cogiteon
The third day of the camp was a time to discover the secrets of the world at the Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon. The children took part in interactive shows and experiments and visited the “Man and His Dreams” exhibition. Touch, movement, the senses, science and technology. Everyone found something for themselves.
After returning, there was of course a Taekwon-do training session, and at the end a sweet reward in the form of ice cream, which tasted delicious in the summer heat!
Hot weather? Time for some water fun!
Thursday brought truly summery weather, making it the perfect moment for a visit to a water park. Slides, paddling pools, swimming pools and lots of joy! The children could let out their excess energy in the most enjoyable way possible. The day began with games in the playground and on the sports field, and ended with a refreshing splash.
A finale full of excitement
The final day of the day camp in Nowa Huta ended with attractions at Hala Centralna! There was real excitement in the Activity Place zone: air hockey, shuffleboard, skeeball, table football, basketball table, F1 simulators and much more. The whole group also competed in bowling.
