Erasmus+ in Belgium – international exchange of experience

Erasmus+ in Belgium – international exchange of experience

From 31 January to 6 February 2026 our coaches, Ludwik and Grzesiek, took part in the Erasmus+ programme in Belgium, gaining new experience, inspiration and international contacts. It was a week of training, observation and discovering Belgian culture.

A weekend in Brussels – the flavour of culture and history

As early as the first days of their stay, the coaches devoted time to sightseeing in Brussels. They visited the Grand Place, the European Parliament, as well as the La Monnaie Theatre, taking in the atmosphere of the city and its architecture. Weekend walks helped them better understand the local culture and atmosphere of the city.

Monday – the start of training at Hwarang Academy

The week began with intensive classes at Hwarang Academy, where the coaches could observe daily work with children and young people. It was a time for exchanging experience, learning about methods of motivating athletes and implementing modern training techniques.

Tuesday – practical training at Seung Taekwon-Do

On Tuesday, the coaches visited SEUNG Academy in Harelbeke, where they observed innovative teaching methods led by Master Yves Pollefeyt and Margaux Pollefeyt. They were also able to test new coaching techniques and tools that will enrich the training programme at our club.

Wednesday – a trip to France

Wednesday was full of travel and new experiences. The coaches went to Lille in France, where they took part in training at Noble Art Waregem.

Thursday – Belgium from a cultural perspective

On Thursday, the coaches devoted their time to discovering Belgium from a cultural perspective. They visited Bruges and Ghent, taking in the rich history, remarkable architecture and unique atmosphere of these cities. A walk along cobbled streets and historic squares allowed them to rest after the intensive days.

A friendly atmosphere

At every school they visited, the coaches were welcomed very warmly. There was a great atmosphere – plenty of openness, conversation and a shared passion for sport. This experience showed how important international cooperation is for exchanging knowledge. Once again, thank you very much for the warm welcome!
