Examination for Master Degrees

The examination under the patronage of ZS PUT was held on 30 November 2019 in Krakow. Four of our coaches and athletes were promoted to master degrees in taekwon-do. The highest degree among the candidates, 3rd dan, was earned by Rafał Żelazko; Mateusz Kopciński earned 2nd dan, while Dariusz Pazdan and Igor Tasarz passed for 1st dan. 

Over more than 3 hours, the participants had to demonstrate hand and foot techniques, formal patterns, technical sparring, self-defence techniques, fight 2 against 1, break 10 boards in various ways and, finally, answer questions concerning taekwon-do theory. After assessing all the skills, the examiner Mikołaj Kotowicz, 5th dan, decided to promote everyone to higher degrees.
