New season, major changes!
New season, major changes!
We have started a new, 21st season of our sporting activities. This year has brought major changes. Two new clubs have separated from the KCT structures. At the same time, groups have been launched in two new locations. The club has also been joined by five new instructors. But let’s take it step by step.
Coach Adam Wargal, previously Vice-President of our club, founded his own association – the Institute for Sport Development. As part of IRS, his former section from Łobzów has been operating since the new season.
The Wieliczka-Gdów “Prime” Fighting School, as its name suggests, was established on the basis of groups from Wieliczka led by coaches Maciej Michalik and Aleksandra Raźny, as well as groups from Gdów trained by coach Mateusz Dylawerski.
We continue to work closely with both clubs, organising joint trips to sports competitions and camps.
At the same time, new people at our club decided to take on the challenge of working with children and young people. Coaches Karolina Czech, Jan Gorazda, Michał Krupa and Klaudia Kot lead children’s groups, while coach Jakub Włodarz co-leads training sessions for young people and adults.
Our area of operation has also expanded. The first new location is Skotniki (SP 66), where groups for children and two Małe Smoki groups are run. The second location with a children’s group is Tyniec (SP 132). Due to the great interest in training in Kurdwanów, new groups are also being formed there.
As of this year, coach Mikołaj Kotowicz runs two additional training sessions for advanced practitioners. A group for the club’s competition team has been established in Kurdwanów. In Bieńczyce, classes are held for black belts.
We are pleased that our classes continue to grow in popularity. This is a clear signal for us that what we do, and above all how we do it, makes sense. We constantly update our offer and are always open to new ideas.
