Refereeing grades awarded

9 people took part in a course for prospective referees organized by Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do in Krakow on 29 November 2019. Among them were our coaches, athletes and athletes’ parents. They obtained B, C and D referee grades. During the St. Nicholas Taekwon-do Tournament, they will strengthen our team of “yellow shirts”.

The exam consisted of 2 parts: theoretical and practical. After an almost 3-hour lecture on theory, it was time to test the knowledge in practice. The examinees were put to the test by refereeing all competitions, which was possible thanks to the help of our students. Everyone passed the theoretical knowledge test and the practical part of the course correctly on their first attempt. The course was led by ZS PUT Vice-President Mikołaj Kotowicz and ZS PUT contract referee Rafał Żelazko. The new referees will join the refereeing team at the upcoming ZS PUT events.
