Report from the family sports holiday in Zubrzyca Górna – session II

In the second half of August, another session of the family sports holiday took place. This time, slightly older participants went on the trip, so the camp programme was adapted to their age group. Can you spot the difference?

As the holiday destination, our club once again chose Orawski Dwór. The aforementioned tourist facility is a guesthouse located in a picturesque area with views of the Tatra Mountains and Babia Góra. The place is wonderfully arranged with families with children in mind. Outside, there is a huge open area, a sports field and a playground.

The programme included daily art and educational activities. During one of them, the children and teenagers created their own bag design. They used paints and fabric markers to complete the task. The results were extraordinary!

In the afternoons, there were training sessions for children and adults. Due to the large number of campers, they were divided into four groups – two for the parents and two for their children.

Another daily activity was swimming-pool sessions. Thanks to their regularity, the participants had the opportunity to improve their skills.

The trip to Babia Góra was definitely a test of patience and endurance. The hike lasted as long as 7 hours and began in Krowiarki. At the summit of the “Queen of the Beskids”, located 1725 m above sea level, everyone could finally breathe a sigh of relief and feel proud – the goal had been achieved! After resting, the group headed to Zawoja, where a coach was waiting for them.

There was also a trip to the treetop adventure park! “Wypasiona Dolina” offers several routes with varying levels of difficulty, as well as attractions for the youngest visitors. Surely, everyone can find something for themselves in such a place.

In addition to the aforementioned sports activities, the daily evening routine included Just Dance, karaoke or watching cartoons. The children had a moment to catch their breath, while the parents could relax :)
