Report on the summer day camps
This summer, two sessions of day camps were held in Kurdwanów. The holiday program lasted 5 days, during which our participants had the opportunity to train, explore, discover Kraków’s attractions and make new friends!
The training sessions were planned with the participants’ varied levels of experience in mind. During every class, the instructors try to combine learning the martial art of taekwon-do with a bit of fun.
The trip to the swimming pool was definitely a hit with everyone. After entering the pool complex, the lifeguard reminded everyone about safety rules and suggested using additional equipment such as floaties. The children had an hour to play and learn to swim. After this active time, the group went to the salt cave located in the same facility, where they could relax and enjoy inventing creative games in the salt.
The Arcade Museum turned out to be a bull’s-eye! In fact, it was hard to find the motivation to return to school, where the remaining activities took place. For the younger participants, the venue made it possible to understand how computer games and other similar innovative technologies really began. For the older group, it was an opportunity to travel back in time.
A trip to the park was a pleasant way to spend a sunny day. The first group of participants visited Park Lotników, while the second visited Park Jordana.
The cinema? Why not—after all, the day camp takes place during the summer holidays! After the animated film, there were, of course, lively discussions about the main characters and the story depicted.
The robotics classes led by Kraina Twórczości completely captured the participants’ attention. During the workshops, they were able to build and program a robot themselves. For many, the experience became an inspiration.
GOjump and GOkidz were also highlights of the program. Places created for active people—and just right for those who train taekwon-do! Fun and recreation in a nutshell :)
In addition to the outings and activities mentioned above, the group took part in integration activities such as basketball, football, mini-disco and board games. It was a week full of excitement and new experiences. Another edition is coming soon!
