Seminar with Fin Heesom in Krakow

Last weekend, on 20 and 21 September, at the KS Orzeł Piaski Wielkie sports hall in Krakow (15 Niebieska Street), we had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional athlete – Fin Heesom, a 25-year-old representative of Great Britain, the current WAKO World Champion in kickboxing (light-contact) and a four-time World Cup winner.

Four intensive training sessions

Over the two days, there were as many as four intensive training sessions, which Fin led in an extremely professional and inspiring manner.

Participants focused on key elements of sport fighting in the light-contact format:

  • proper execution of kicks,
  • maintaining a stable position,
  • controlling the distance from the opponent.

There were also exercises developing the speed and dynamism of techniques, which will certainly pay off during future sparring sessions and competitions.

New experiences and motivation

These were two days full of knowledge, practice and a sporting atmosphere. We return to the mat with new skills and an even greater desire to continue working on ourselves.
