Sports Camp in Borek

This season, our club had the opportunity to visit the Borek Active Recreation Centre for the first time—a true paradise for children! From 18–25.08.2022, a Sports Camp was held there for children aged 6 to 13. See how the participants spent 8 days full of excitement!

Every day, the camp participants had a day full of attractions ahead of them. The “Borek” Active Recreation Centre is a complex consisting of a hotel building, cottages, a restaurant, two multipurpose rooms, a gigantic playground, its own swimming area, a go-kart track, a rope park and a number of sports fields. The children could enjoy the attractions to their heart’s content :)

The Sports Camp included daily taekwon-do training sessions. The children were divided into 3 groups, in which each day (except Sunday, set aside for recovery) they had classes with coaches in different areas of the facility.

There was no shortage of attractions! The children tried go-karts, the rope park, a zipline, climbing, kayaking and sports competition activities. Opinions were divided as to the best attraction, but the zipline probably won!

The swimming area was also an integral part of the day when the weather was sunny. While swimming, the children collected pebbles and played football, badminton, archery and giant chess. They were truly very creative when inventing all kinds of games :)

The playground was a huge hit. Tunnels, a zipline, castles… The children felt as if they were in a magical land :)

Coach Nikodem organised a survival activity in the forest for the campers. Despite initial doubts about completing the tasks, the students returned full of positive energy after the evening camouflage activity!

Every evening, we ended the day together with Just Dance, a campfire or a film screening :)

The colour festival also brought lots of joy. The campers danced to music and fooled around on the grass, scattering colourful powder.
