STUDENT GRADES EXAM IN TAEKWON-DO

This post presents details of the upcoming exam.

Date: 18-19.02.2022

Place: Primary School No. 149, room 26d.

Registration: is mandatory! Register with instructors by Wednesday, 16.02.2022

Fees: PLN 80 for each grade, PLN 40 if the exam is failed – payable in cash on the day of the exam.

Group division

For those training for the first or second year, the exam takes place in groups. For more advanced participants, the highest grade they are taking determines the group:

Friday, 18 February

17:30-19:00 – younger advanced participants taking 7.3 cup and above

19:00-20:00 – older beginners taking up to and including 7 cup

20:00-21:30 – older advanced participants taking 6 cup and above

Saturday, 19 February

10:00-11:00 – younger beginners from Dojang + Stoki (small room)

11:00-12:00 – younger intermediate participants from Dojang + Stoki (small room)

12:00-13:00 – younger beginners from Borek + Waldorfska

13:00-13:30 – technical break

13:30-14:30 – younger beginners from Horme, Open Future, CIS

14:30-15:30 – younger beginners from Łagiewniki, Felicjanki, Podwawelskie, Kozłówek

15:30-16:30 – younger beginners from Kurdwanów (both groups), Skotniki

16:30-17:30 – younger intermediate participants from Skotniki, Kozłówek, Łagiewniki

17:30-18:30 – younger intermediate participants from Kurdwanów, Borek

18:30-20:00 – younger advanced participants taking 8 cup – 7.2 cup, all groups

Additional information:

• Children should arrive for the exam 15 minutes before it begins (neither earlier nor later).
• Parents may not enter the school building. Instructors will collect the children at the entrance to the sports block. It is not possible to watch the exam in the room.
• The exact exam fee in cash should be given to the child. We will collect the fees at the entrance to the room, and certificates confirming that the exam was passed will be issued when leaving the room.
• Those who have one should bring a complete dobok. Those without a dobok should wear long sports trousers and a T-shirt.
• Participants who are to spar during the exam must have their own personal set of sports-fighting equipment.
• After the exam, it will be possible to purchase a white or yellow belt for PLN 20.

Explanation of grades:

10 cup – a white belt without stripes

9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 cup – a white belt with 1, 2 or 3 yellow stripes, respectively

8 cup – a yellow belt

7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 – a yellow belt with 1, 2 or 3 green stripes, respectively

6 cup – a green belt, etc.
