Summer taekwon-do camp – Borek, second session
Summer taekwon-do camp – Borek, second session
From 24–30 August 2024, the second session of the summer taekwon-do camp took place in Borek. Another group of children arrived to experience an unforgettable week full of sporting challenges, fun and new experiences. Check out what happened at the camp!
Day I – We’re starting!
We started the first day of camp with a shared lunch, which gave us energy for further activities. The weather was favourable, so we did not waste any time – we headed to the water, where everyone could cool off and splash around properly. We spent the evening by the barbecue and finished it with dancing to “Just Dance”, which got all the participants moving.
Day II – Shooting range and survival
The sunny weather encouraged us to spend time at the beach, so after breakfast we went to the water again. After lunch, it was time for more demanding activities – shooting training and Taekwon-do techniques. In the evening, willing participants could test their skills during survival activities in the forest.
Day III – Beach time and go-karts
We started the day with a trip to the playground, and when the sun grew stronger, we moved to the beach. The next attraction was riding quad bikes and go-karts. In the evening, everyone relaxed during a shared film screening.
Day IV – Festival of colours and sporting contests
In the morning, we started the day with patterns training, and after breakfast an additional surprise awaited us – a festival of colours. We finished it with a spectacular run into the water. To end the day, we enjoyed ourselves at the camp disco.
Day V – Zip line, climbing and exam preparations
Friday brought a slight change of pace. We began the day calmly, resting until breakfast. After the meal, all the groups went shopping, and later more attractions awaited us – a zip line and a climbing wall. After returning from the activities, there was also a technical training session, as the exam was fast approaching. We spent the afternoon at the playground and swimming area, and in the evening willing participants once again took part in survival activities.
Day VI – Exam and campfire
We began the last day before returning home with intensive training in preparation for the exam. After breakfast, we settled the cleanliness competition – the winners did not hide their joy as they collected their trophy. Later, we went kayaking to relax after the morning challenges.
The most important point of the day was the exam for student grades. As many as 30 participants took the test, and everyone passed successfully, earning promotion to the next grades. We ended the day with a campfire.
On behalf of the entire staff of the Borek I and Borek II camps, we would like to thank you very much for your trust. We hope that the camps will be a pleasant memory for the children .
