Summer Taekwon-do Camp – Borek, Session I
Summer Taekwon-do Camp – Borek, Session I
This year’s Summer Taekwon-do Camp in Borek, which took place from 18 to 24 August, turned out to be an unforgettable experience for all participants. For a week, the children had the opportunity not only to improve their martial arts skills, but also to enjoy numerous attractions that provided them with active recreation and lots of joy.
Starting the camp adventure
After arriving at the centre and sharing a meal, we began our camp adventure with a short walk around the area. We spent the afternoon actively at the playground, and in the evening we had fun to the rhythms of Just Dance, which perfectly put us in the energetic mood of the exciting week ahead.
Relaxation by the water and training
We started the second day with a swim at a nearby bathing area. The lifeguard gave us a short lesson on safety rules, which allowed us to enjoy the water with even greater pleasure. After lunch, it was time for training. Despite the busy day, we found time to go out for ice cream and enjoy some more fun at the playground.
From archery to a campfire – unforgettable camp attractions
On the third day, we had an archery session, which was a new and exciting experience for many of us, followed by Taekwon-do and gymnastics training. We spent the afternoon by the water, learning to paddle a kayak, and ended the day with a relaxing film screening. On the fourth day, the adrenaline reached its peak – go-karting, quad biking, as well as a zip line and climbing wall provided us with unforgettable thrills. The fifth day was full of games together, which we ended with an evening campfire.
Exam time
The sixth day of camp brought the most important event – the examination for Taekwon-do student grades. Twenty-seven children took the exam, having prepared for this moment throughout the week. Every participant gave their all.
Festival of Colours
The final day of camp ended on a joyful and colourful note – with a Festival of Colours! Throwing coloured powders into the air, we celebrated the end of our week-long adventure.
