Taekwon-do and kickboxing kup grade exam
We are pleased to announce another, and already the last, kup grade exam this season. The exam will take place in Kurdwanów on 16–17 June 2023. In this post, we present detailed information about the event.
Date: 16–17 June 2023
Venue: Primary School No. 149, 15 Bujaka Street, Kraków (Kurdwanów)
Registration: is required! Register with the instructors by Wednesday, 14 June 2023
Fees: PLN 80 for each grade, PLN 40 for an unsuccessful exam – payable in cash on the day of the exam.

Schedule
Friday, 16 June, room 26d – older groups only
17:15–18:15 kickboxing
18:15–19:15 older beginners up to 8 kup
19:15–21:30 older advanced students testing for 7 kup and above.
Saturday, 17 June, room 10d – younger groups only
08:30–09:30 younger beginners (testing for 10 and 9.1) from the Kurdwanów, Skotniki, Łagiewniki and Podwawelskie branches
09:30–10:30 younger beginners (testing for 10 and 9.1) from the CIS, Openfuture, Waldorfska, Horme and Kolegium branches
10:30–11:30 younger beginners (testing for 10 and 9.1) from the Borek, Dojang, Stoki, Tysiąclecia and Kozłówek branches
11:30–12:30 younger intermediate students (testing for 9.2 and 9.3) from the Dojang, Stoki, Borek, Horme, Waldorfska, Openfuture and CIS branches
12:30–13:30 younger intermediate students (testing for 9.2 and 9.3) from the Kurdwanów, Skotniki, Łagiewniki and Podwawelskie branches
13:30–15:00 younger advanced students testing for 8, 7.1 and 7.2 from all branches
15:00–16:45 younger advanced students testing for 7.3 and above from all branches.
Additional information:
- the group is determined by the highest grade being tested for.
- Arrive for the exam 20 minutes before it starts (neither earlier nor later).
- It is not possible to watch the exam in the room.
- The exact exam fee in cash will be collected at the entrance to the room, and certificates confirming a passed exam will be issued at the exit.
- For the taekwon-do exam, those who have a full dobok should bring it. Those without a dobok should wear long sports trousers and a white T-shirt.
- People who are to spar during the exam must have their own complete set of sports-fighting equipment.
- After the exam, it will be possible to purchase a white or yellow belt for PLN 20.
Explanation of grades:
10 kup – a white belt without stripes
9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 kup – a white belt with 1, 2 or 3 yellow stripes respectively
8 kup – a yellow belt
7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 – a yellow belt with 1, 2 or 3 green stripes respectively
6 kup – a green belt, etc.
