Winter holiday and sports camp in Murzasichle 2026
Winter holiday and sports camp in Murzasichle 2026
From 8–14 February, a winter sports and recreation camp took place, combining active leisure, training sessions and time spent together with family and peers. The camp was intended both for children with parents, who wanted to spend time actively in good company, and for children and young people going independently, focused on taekwon-do or kickboxing training.
The beginning of our camp adventure
We began our camp adventure on Sunday morning at Primary School No. 149 at 15 Bujaka Street. Once all participants had arrived and we had completed the final formalities, we set off towards the mountains, full of energy and in high spirits.
Upon arrival, we checked into Dom Wczasowy Halny – a comfortable holiday house set in the mountain scenery of Murzasichle. We spent the next few days there, combining training, active leisure and time together.
From the first day, the camp took place under the watchful eye of the coaches: Mikołaj Kotowicz, Grzegorz Pazdan, and Nikola Polakowska, who looked after the participants’ sporting development, a great atmosphere and safety.
Training and daily activities
We began each day with physical activities – Pilates and “healthy spine” exercises. Taekwon-do training sessions, adapted to the participants’ ages and levels of experience, were also held regularly.
A permanent part of the programme was daily trips to the swimming pool, during which the children learned to swim or improved their skills under the instructors’ supervision.
Winter attractions and excursions
During the camp, we went twice to the ice rink and snowtubing, which brought everyone lots of joy. There was also a real sleigh ride by sleigh or wagon, bringing everyone into a wintry highlander atmosphere.
Group integration and free time
Afternoons and evenings were filled with activities for children and parents, group games, film screenings and a bonfire, which encouraged the whole group to bond. An important part of the programme was also a workshop on healthy eating, during which participants learned the principles of proper nutrition in sport and everyday life.
Trip to Termy Zakopiańskie
On Friday, to conclude the camp trip, we went to Termy Zakopiańskie, which were the perfect finale to an intensive week full of training and activities. Time spent in the warm pools, recreation area and on the slides allowed everyone a moment to relax and recover.
We would like to thank all participants for taking part and for the wonderful atmosphere throughout the trip. We hope that we will meet again during future summer trips and camps, and more photos from the trip can be found on our Facebook profile CAMP TKD
