COURSE FOR REFEREE CANDIDATES

Parent, athlete! We need your help! Obtain referee qualifications and help us organize local competitions for our students! You are invited to a free course, which will take place on November 29 at Primary School No. 149.

DATE: 29 November 2019 (Friday), 15:00–21:00

VENUE: Lower Secondary School No. 28, 15 Bujaka Street, Kraków (Kurdwanów estate) – sports block.

FEES: free of charge (for KCT members and parents of KCT members who undertake to help at the St. Nicholas Taekwon-do Tournament or the Kraków Cup; others – PLN 60).

INSTRUCTORS: Mikołaj Kotowicz, 5th dan – Vice-President of ZS PUT, and Rafał Żelazko, 2nd dan – Contract Referee of ZS PUT

All candidates are required to know the ZS PUT Regulations (the latest version can be downloaded from http://www.put.org.pl/dokumenty-do-pobrania/). During the course, only the most important issues from the Regulations will be discussed.

BRING:
– a copy of the ZS PUT Regulations,
– a notebook and pen,
– indoor sports shoes.

COURSE SCHEDULE:

PART I – TEST – 15:00–15:45
1. Test – 45 minutes
2. Discussion of test results – 15 minutes.

PART II – THEORY – 16:00–18:00
1. Organization of the referee’s work – 60 minutes
2. Conducting a bout on the mat – 60 minutes

PART III – PRACTICAL – 18:30–20:45

PART IV – DISCUSSION OF RESULTS AND PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES – 20:45–21:00

To obtain a license, candidates must achieve at least 80% correct answers during the theoretical examination and demonstrate the necessary refereeing skills during the practical test (signaling, conducting a bout, etc.).
