KCT’s 25th season of activity

KCT’s 25th season of activity

We are beginning the 25th season of activity of Krakowskie Centrum Taekwon-do. This school year will involve many unknowns, but we are determined to enable you to participate in training. Please read the information below.

Enrollment

We are enrolling children in Małe Smoki groups and beginner groups. To reserve a place, please contact us by phone: 530 000 104, by email: info@kct.pl, or via Messenger.

We also encourage you to read the blog of our head coach, Mikołaj Kotowicz, especially the post entitled “What can a parent do when a child does not want to participate in the first training sessions?”

Schedule

Due to the unusual situation, we do not yet have the full class schedule. For now, on our website dev.kct.pl/#treningi you will find the schedules for the following branches:

  • Kurdwanów – starts 1.09.2020
  • Albertyńskie – starts 7.09.2020
  • Kozłówek – starts 7.09.2020
  • Na Stoku – starts 7.09.2020
  • Borek Fałęcki – starts 7.09.2020

We are still waiting for the schools in Skotniki, Łagiewniki and Lubostroń to confirm the schedule.

For continuing students, our instructors will contact you to assign you to the appropriate group. If you have not yet received this information, please contact the instructor who led your group last year directly. Phone numbers and email addresses can be found on our website dev.kct.pl/#instruktorzy-2.

Safety rules

When coming to training, please follow the safety rules:

  • We enter the school building wearing a face mask and remove it only in the training room.
  • We arrive at training 15 minutes early, change clothes and wait to enter the room in the designated area to prevent groups from mixing.
  • We disinfect our hands before entering and after leaving the training room.
  • If possible, we ask parents to wait for their children outside the school building.

Fees in the new season

This year we decided to increase the training fees. Payment for classes consists of a registration fee of 60 zł for 2020/21 and a training fee

once a week amounting to 340 zł per semester or 5 monthly instalments of 85 zł

twice a week amounting to 560 zł per semester or 5 monthly instalments of 140 zł.

At the same time, we inform you that if a “lockdown” is introduced again, training will take place online. The monthly cost will be reduced by 30%. In the case of a semester payment, we do not provide refunds. If it turns out that the total of the monthly payments is lower than the semester fee, the resulting overpayment will be carried forward to subsequent billing periods.

End of Multisport passes

The KCT Board also decided to end cooperation with Benefit Systems, so from September we will no longer accept Multisport cards. Although we have a very positive opinion of this company, unfortunately we were unable to obtain a training rate satisfactory to us. Regarding our other pass partners, we will make decisions about cooperation in the near future.
