Record attendance at the 6th Kraków Cup!
On 18 May 2024, the Com Com Zone sports hall in Nowa Huta became the arena for sporting competition as part of the 6th edition of the Kraków Cup. This year’s tournament attracted a record number of 363 male and female competitors from 11 clubs, creating an unforgettable event.
The competition begins and the youngest participants compete
The competition began at 9:00 a.m., when children and their parents began gathering in the hall. The youngest participants, aged 6–7, competed in categories such as speed kicking, soft-stick fighting, special techniques and patterns. The 8- and 9-year-olds competed in patterns, special techniques, speed kicking, soft-stick fighting or semi-contact. Huge thanks go to the parents who devote their time to developing their children’s passions.
Younger and cadet competitors in action
After the youngest competitors had finished, the younger competitors took part in the competition.
The younger competitors competed in patterns, special techniques, speed kicking (dollyo chagi), soft-stick fighting or semi-contact. The cadets, meanwhile, competed in patterns, special techniques, semi-contact and light-contact. The level of competition in these groups was exceptionally high, making winning a medal quite a challenge.
Thanks and congratulations
Warm congratulations to all the competitors for their effort and commitment! Special thanks go to everyone who contributed to organising this great event – participants, judges, coaches, assistants and parents.
