Taekwon-do in the Snow
Taekwon-do in the Snow
The winter taekwon-do camp in Kluszkowce is already behind us. After a week of snow-filled fun at Polana Sosny and training, only memories and photos remain ;) Of course, there was no shortage of attractions such as a sleigh ride, bonfire, performance by a highland band or zumba classes. We invite you to read the full report ->
On 10 February 2018 at 10:00, our camp adventure began. Suitcases packed, seats on the coach taken… we set off. Everyone was in good spirits, and so was the weather despite the slight frost. After arriving, it was time for our first meal—lunch. With full stomachs, we went to unpack in our rooms. After a short break, our first outdoor training session awaited us.
At 18:00, dinner, an evening mini-disco and bedtime.
The next day, after breakfast, we were divided into groups: skiing and snowboarding, and training. The first group was already packing into the minibus at 9:15, heading towards Polana Sosny, while the second gathered for training at the centre.
Both groups came for lunch. Afterwards, there was the daily room cleanliness inspection and an afternoon taekwon-do training session. After dinner, the first attraction—a sleigh ride.
On Monday, a literary competition with prizes was held, and in the evening we danced at the mini-disco.
Tuesday passed with skiing on the slopes, training and preparations for another competition, this time involving sketches and songs.
Valentine’s Wednesday was certainly not boring. After lunch, we learned how to make sushi, and after dinner there was a ju-jitsu training session.
Thursday’s most important event was undoubtedly the camp baptism. The sketches and songs competition was decided, we grilled sausages over a bonfire and listened to a performance by a highland band.
On Friday, the big packing began, and in the evening we moved our hips during zumba classes.
Fun, snow and taekwon-do… now all we can do is wait until next year for another winter camp.
